we do have some nice matchups coming up in Atlanta!
BIG vs. compLexity
FaZe vs. Cloud9
Some high caliber cs matches!
All matches are bo3 so that we will see some world class cs.
BIG vs. compLexity
Both teams do have a new player. BIG is playing with Xantares and compLexity with n0thing. CompLexity showed some great cs in the past months, but seem to decrease in the first month of the new year.
At IBUYPOWER Masters last week they showed some weak plays, as they lost convincingly to Astralis and a close 16:14 to fnatic.
BIG's last offline appearance was at SuperNova Malta with their old lineup, as Xantares is only to move to Germany the players didn't have that much time to play and get to know each other.
Strat-wise compLexity should be better than prepared than BIG but with guns like Xantares,
tabseN and smooya on the server I can't see compLexity taking two maps of BIG!
FaZe vs. Cloud9
What is right for the first matchup, is right for the 2nd matchup of the event!
FaZe will play with AdreN and Cloud9 with Zellsis.
FaZe seemed to be shaky against Ghost at IBUYPOWER Masters last week and lost twice against the American-Canadian mix.
The loss shows that there is a lot of work to do for the European mix, to get back to the top.
Cloud9 seemed similar, though with the newest addition of Zellsis the team looks to make an impact at this Event.
In L.A. they won against fnatic, to lose to Astralis and getting eliminated after playing fnatic a 2nd time and losing 16:14.
All in all, Cloud9 looked way better than FaZe in Los Angeles, but in a bo3 we will see which player was integrated faster into the lineup!
Firepower wise FaZe has some of the world best players, that's why I think they will take the series, especially in a bo3.
I'm excited, let's go!
